I love the work that I do here and simply cannot understand why everyone else is complaining about everything. No company is perfect and we do have our own hiccups but these are some problems of working. My team lead is a nice guy and he is very considerate to all of us. My team mates also work very hard and we bonded when the situation worsened.

This company is ok, better than others right now as there are much less layoffs. The timings can be a killer. Also there are lot of favoratism in the upper level. Your posting will depend more on who you know than your skills. To be a bit frank, I am a bit tired of this politics.

I have been working at Mercer Human Resource Consulting for the last five years and I really do not have much to complain. I am a working mother and my husband??™s job forces him to go out of the country for weeks. So I am responsible for taking care of my three kids. My boss has been very considerate and I never have any problems trying to balance my work schedule and my family time. The company policy of flexi timing is also a life saver.

The extreme expectations of my manager at Mercer forced me to quit the company and I am very happy working in my present company which is smaller but has a much relaxed outlook. The management at Mercer was not at all people friendly and they were only interested in getting the maximum output from their employees without ever thinking about them. The pay and the benefits hardly matched industry standards. I finally got too irritated and left from there.

At Mercer I have always felt that there is no parity between the working hours and the salary. I am working noon stop without any leave or vacation for the last two years yet I have never received any raises. The pay I get here is like someone else in a similar company got at least five years ago. The management turns a deaf ear to all our pleas for revision of the pay structure and most of us are looking for new jobs. I will leave this company as soon as I can

There is only one thing I hate about my job in Mercer and that is we are overworked. We are expected to stay back in office till 9 or 10 in the night and not complain about it. But I often found that my supervisor has the time to have his family outings while I had to regularly face the wrath of my wife in home. The pay is not in tandem with the amount of work I do here.

At Mercer I have got a chance to work in a huge company and interact with some very efficient people. The atmosphere here is quite relaxed and though everyone is busy with their work all of us share a good rapport. The company is also very flexible with the working schedules and I can do most of my work from home thus allowing me to spend lot of time with my family. The company has a good pay system along with some great benefits which keeps me very happy with my job. I also see a lot of growth opportunity for myself here.
