ACS is a company that does everything that they can for the bottom line. They don't like to spend money on employees or mind lying to customers and over promising and under delivering. They would off-shore our jobs in a heartbeat if they thought that they could. ACS just announced that the 2nd Quarter beat estimates, revenue is up 7% and they are expected to beat fiscal year estimates. However, ACS just suspended their 401K match and have also have put a freeze on all promotions and annual salary increases. On their recent earnings call Lynn Blodgett stated many times "ACS has a recession proof business model" if so why the cuts to employee benefits? The company is using the current economic conditions as an excuse to save some money. Dealing with the company's benefit department is horrible because they have offshored most of the staff. I have worked for this company for a few years now and they have keep amazing me on how they will keep screwing over their employees. These are the reasons ACS has trouble keeping good management. I would be leaving if I wasn't close to retiring.

The present recession has affected every company and Affiliated is not an exception. The only good thing is that the management has been very supportive and discussed the situation with us. We know that some of us may lose their jobs but we are also sure that the management will try its best not to let that happen. This has helped a lot in boosting the morale of the people who work here. I know that the future is uncertain but I have full faith on my employer.

I have worked at ACS for quite a while now and i must say it is one of the best companies i have ever been a part of. Hard work and ingenuity is rewarded. It is true that Management is thin, but it should be. All other companies are ridiculed for too much management but ACS is a lean machine. In the LOB that i work in, we are doing quite well and saving our customers money everyday. Benefits suck which means we lose good people but ACS is not announcing layoffs...

As an employee at Affiliated I feel that the recent policy changes are destroying the company and holding it back from advancing. The employees of the most departments are treated as if they are some second class citizens and they have no say about anything that happens here. There is also a scarcity of staff here and I have to do the work of at least three people which is destroying my personal life. Another problem we face here that there is too much politicizing of every issue. This hampers the morale of most employees.

In general ACS is not a very bad place to work if I keep doing my job in time and this is because I have one of the best managers in the company. For others life is pretty difficult here because most of the people working as team leads are extremely incompetent and they always try to get maximum done by the team members without ever appreciating them. This means that most of the people working here end up working double yet never get the raises the deserve because their bosses are scared that these guys might take away their positions.

Affiliate is the most considerate company I have ever worked at and it gives me the flexibility to work from home at least once or twice a week allowing me to maintain a great family life. The company has no hassles about coming to office as long as you get your work done in time and keep your deadlines. The company gives me a good salary and also provides me with some commendable benefits. The company has never put me in any pressure situations and even the clients seem to understand the company policy, and never exert any undue pressure.
